Infosys today officially informed Perfect Relations about moving on to Adfactors PR for their PR mandate.
Confirming the news, Perfect Relation’s CEO, Valerie Pinto, told PRmoment India that, “Over the last few months the strategic direction of Infosys’s communication has been unilateral and in variance with the way we would ideally like to position our clients in the minds of stakeholders and the media. After careful consideration we have decided to mutually part ways.”
Adfactors will take over after a month’s notice period is over. The Infosys PR account is valued at a crore plus annually.
Recently, Infosys filed a defamation case against three newspapers including the Economic Times.
Yesterday, Economic Times carried a front page story on Infosys co-founder and current CEO, SD Shibulal’s ownership of 700 apartments in Seattle.
Among the top 3 IT companies in India, Infosys, saw a spate of bad press in the last year over the return of Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy, with his son Rohan, to stem the decline in the company. Earlier this month, Infosys finally appointed former SAP man, Vishal Sikka, as their first non-founder CEO.
