Mercedes-Benz India awards communications mandate to Adfactors PR

Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. has awarded the mandate to manage its public relations and communications requirements to Adfactors PR. The mandate covers strategic counsel and planning, media relations, issues, and crisis management, advocacy and integrated campaign development for Mercedes-Benz India and its products across segments.

The account will be serviced by teams in Mumbai and Delhi, with the required domain expertise of the auto sector.

Mercedez-Benz has an estimated 40% share of the luxury car segment in India, making it the market leader. The auto sector as a whole is facing challenges, however of disruption and declining sales. The iconic car maker recently launched BS-VI compliant Long Wheelbase E-Class sedan in India. 

The German firm's leadership also said that it had rolled out the first 'Made in India, for India'BS-VI vehicle in January last year.
