MSL, DViO now handling communication and digital mandate respectively for McDonald North and East India

McDonald's has taken on an integrated communication firm ( PR) and integrated marketing digital specialist firm in the last seven months to handle its communication strategy for North and East India.
MSL India will handle its overall PR mandate including portions of influencer engagement. DViO is handling the overall digital strategy for North and East India. This includes digital media buying, creatives including video and social media campaigns along with influencer strategy.

Reliable sources told PRmoment India that MSL won in a strongly contested pitch process impressing with their overall strategic approach to communications.
Even as India enters the Unlock 1.0 phase, McDonald's announced that 50 dine in restaurants are now open in North and East India. Another 50 are open for delivery, take away and drive through services.
McDonald's north and East India services are also emerging from a long drawn out legal battle with it former franchise holder, Vikram Bakshi. In February this year, Delhi-based M M Agrawal Group, won the franchise for North and East India. The MM Agrawal group are also major bottlers for Coca-Cola India, formally bottling Thums Up, Limca and Bisreli for Parle Group.
The firm's West and South region has also recently reported double digit growth in the lockdown period, strongly driven by online delivery.
