ON PURPOSE picked as communications partner to drive demand for solar rooftop solutions in eight states by NEXANT

ON PURPOSE will be designing and implementing an integrated strategic communications initiative for Nexant to encourage the adoption of rooftop solutions across eight states of India.

Nexant is a globally recognised software, consulting and services leader headquartered in San Francisco that provides innovative solutions to utilities, energy enterprises and government entities worldwide. Nexant is the implementation partner for The US Agency for International Development (USAID) Partnership to Advance Clean Energy – Deployment Technical Assistance (PACE-D TA) Program.  The PACE-D TA Programme is working with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to develop solar rooftop framework in eight Indian states. The program also aims to develop a technical and financial ecosystem to support the growth of solar rooftop deployments in the country.

ON PURPOSE will be working closely with Nexant to deliver an outreach programme in three distinct stages: 1) Research and insights, 2) Strategic communications framework and 3) State-wise localization of communication content.

The brief for ON PURPOSE includes delivering a comprehensive communications strategy and messaging based on insights and feedback from multiple stakeholders including State Government nodal agencies, utilities departments, and customers.  ON PURPOSE will define a state-wise approach for each of the eight states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It will also help train and build capacity of state representatives to create visually appealing, informative and effective social media outreach programs and develop impactful marketing material that can be customized by each state to create awareness and drive demand for solar rooftop solutions from institutions, corporations and consumers.
