A study by the Blogworks India Auto Social Index has revealed the new stats for online auto brand mentions for September 2013.
Toyota has topped the list with 11,480 mentions, while July’s winner and India’s largest auto mobile manufacturer, Tata Motors came in second with 9,426 mentions. Ford also made the top three with 5,599 online mentions.
With social media becoming even more prominent within the Indian market, brands are needing to ensure they have a good online presence. This study can help manufacturers by showing them their online performance and also how they compare to their leading competitors. The September 2013 report tracks the most mentioned and the most vibrant brands, which is the difference between the percentage of positive mentions and the percentage of negative mentions.
