Wendy’s picks Crosshairs Communications for India PR job

Public relations and social media agency Crosshairs Communication, has been hired for PR work in India by Wendy’s, one of the world’s largest restaurant brands. Wendy's launched in India this week.
As per the PR agency Wendy's is introducing a new menu, new restaurant designs and new approaches to customer service. According to food bloggers invited to the launch over the weekend, the burger chain has separate vegetarian and non vegetarian kicthens- an important issue for Indian customer.
Wendy's is positioning itself as a casual dining eating place with burgers priced higher than KFC and McDonald's. With Wendy's entry the burger market is hotting up in india with McDonald, KFC, Burger King and Dunkin' Donuts all marking strong presence.
Jasper Reid, Director of Sierra Nevada and franchiser of Wendy’s in India, said “We met a couple of agencies before launching the brand and zeroed down our research to Crosshairs Communication. We were very impressed with the strategy shared and the enthusiasm of the team and look forward to a long and fruitful association with the agency.”
