Two years after Amrit Ahuja moved from 2020 MSL to Facebook, she has now quit the social media giant.
Ahuja will now be taking a sabbatical for the next 6 months to chart her next course of action. Ahuja told PRmoment India, "My last 18 months have been an absolute delight at Facebook."
She added that "A quarter of a century of love, passion and joy in and for communications deserves some give back. As I enter the last few years of my career, I have decided to find a role that enables me to give back to the PR community and it's people and help nurture the next generation of communication specialists in India. I also want to make sure that more and more women leaders are born in this industry and take it by storm."
It is understood that Facebook is yet to announce a new director for Facebook in India. India is Facebook's largest market outside the US. Its acquisitions WhatsApp and Instagram also enjoy a massive customer base in India.
