According to Mid-Day, a Mumbai customer, Deepali Sathe, was stunned to find a roll of sticky tape in her salad wrap bought from McDonalds.

The salad wrap was purchased from the Ghansoli outlet in Mumbai on Sunday night. What made the experience difficult is that the outlet staff insisted that the customer return to the original outlet to exchange the food, instead of making it convenient for her to go an outlet closer home.
According to Mid-Day, McDonalds has responded to the incident saying “We are investigating the matter internally.”
While it’s perfectly alright and probably policy to ask for the product in question to be returned to the outlet from where it was bought, it could at least replaced the food quickly and easily.
