Adfactors PR sweeps first edition of Fulcrum Awards launched by PRmoment India

Emotions ran high at the lush, green Aamby Valley, the misty weather a lovely counterpoint to the awards night for Fulcrum, the inaugural edition. Fulcrum Awards for excellence in PR and communications is a property owned by PRmoment India in partnership with Event Capital and supported by SCoRe. The event ended up tending on Twitter nationally:

Ben Smith, founder PRmoment India and UK said that, “The range and quality of entries submitted for Fulcrum were truly creative and strategic- in tune with what businesses in India now want from PR. The work submitted is testimony to the fact that the PR business in India is evolving and growing very much in sync with what is the latest in PR globally.”

Irfan Khan honored for Lifetime achievement in PR

The awards night kicked off with the ‘The Lifetime Achievement Award’, given by jury vote to veteran Public Relations professional Irfan Khan.

Adfactors PR, which also won the award for large consultancy of the year, swept the awards in several categories:

Among the big winners was Flipkart which picked up the ‘Technique Award for - PR event of the Year” for “Big Billion Days 2015: The human side of India’s largest sale event turning negatives into positives.”

Godrej Group saw strong wins too picking up the special award for best corporate communications team. Sujit Patil, VP and head corporate communications, Godrej Industries Ltd, also won a special award for individual achievement in the corporate and BSFI category.

Among the other individual winners was Eshant Arora, associate vice president, Value 360 Communications in the startups category.
