Anjana Asrani, formerly with Puma and Uber, has joined social commerce platform Meesho as associate director, communications.

Meesho, was one of the first home grown startups that Facebook invested in-in 2019, as per Tech Crunch.

A communications professional with over 12 years of experience specialising in retail, Asrani is a post graduate from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru.

Meesho enables small businesses and individuals to start their online stores via social channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram.

The firm recently announced that employees will get a 10 day break, post the hectic festive season.
