Arun Gopalakrishnan has joined Abbott India as associate director, public affairs.

Former journalist with UNI, News X and CNN-IBN, Gopalakrishnan entered the communication world with Adfactors in 2008. He also worked with MSL before going on to brand side roles.

Since then he worked in leadership roles in corporate communications and public affairs in organisations such as Monsanto, Bayer and Holcim. 

Abbott is the maker of marque brands Digene, Brufen, and Vertin. It also makes Influvac, the influenza vaccine.
