Devaashish Savant to head marketing & communications at HR solutions firm Adecco India

Devaashish S. Savant, has joined Adecco as the head – marketing & communication.  He will be based out of Bangalore and will report into to Priyanshu Singh, country manager & MD, Adecco India.                           

This will be an interesting assignment for Savant, who is one of the youngest marcom leads in a corporate firm. The skilling and jobs field is one of top priority with the government, which will need to show job creation ahead of the general elections in 2018. A recent report on talent was released by Adecco, Insead and Tata Communications at the World Economic Forum meet last month. The report shows that while India has risen to the 81st position from 92nd in 2017 in the  index of global  talent comptetitiveness, it lags behind in the BRICS nation pool of Brazil, Russia, South Africa and China.

Savant has worked with organizations like Hewlett-Packard (HP) GlobalSoft Pvt. Ltd, Mudra Communications and ABB. His last assignment was a dual role with Altimetrik as the global marketing communications manager and with Davinta Technologies as the head of MarCom.

Devaashish in his free time is a social-media junkie with a large appetite for tech-gadgets, cinema and advertising and cooking in the real world!
