Dimple Kapur, formerly group head for corporate communications at Piramal, has now moved to Pernod Ricard, the global French beverages firm as VP and head of corporate communications. The firm is the second largest spirit maker in the world.
Kapur will report into Thibault Cuny, MD, Pernod Ricard India.
In India, Seagram 100 pipers is a leading blended brand in India, falling under the blended in India whisky category.
Earlier, Dimple was responsible for driving corporate communications for Qualcomm India and South Asia; was group advisor to a mid-sized conglomerate; and has been associated in various capacities, with leading PR agencies that include: The Practice-Porter Novelli, Corporate Voice Shandwick PR, Genesis PR and Burson-Marsteller Roger Pereira.
An active speaker and jury member at industry forums and leading management institutions, Kapur is a strong advocate of gender diversity and women empowerment.
Dimple holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Bombay and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the prestigious Sophia College, Mumbai.
