Gutenberg Communications rebrands itself to ‘Gutenberg’, launches new services

Public Relations firm Gutenberg, today announced the launch of its expanded suite of services. Gutenberg’s integrated marketing services offering will expand from PR to include digital, content, video and mobile.

"Every conversation with clients today is about digital," Harjiv Singh, founder & CEO, Gutenberg told PRmoment India. " This includes what to do about virality given that the industry has changed completely in response to online audiences."

Which is why Singh said while PR remains at the heart of what they do, other digital tools are needed. He elaborated that “In this next phase of our growth, storytelling will stay central, to our belief that great stories build great brands. But these stories will now be told across PR, video, mobile, social and incorporate tools like SEO, analytics and digital advertising encompassing the range of paid, owned, earned media.” Singh said what he would aim to strengthen Gutenberg's offerings by paying attention to market research.

Singh also said that mobile growth globally will be led by the market in Asia, typically countries like India are still masively underserved where mobile is concerned. As India rolls out digital growth initiatives, Singh pointed out that this situation is set to change in the next 12 to 18 months, opening up promising new avenues for marketing communciation growth.

Even as the global PR business grew 7% globally, Singh said digital, mobile and video offer new avenues for growth which can be tracked with proper ROI. 

In 2016 Gutenberg added 31 clients across its global portfolio. Gutenberg is also on track to open its Singapore office in early 2017 and will continue its expansion targeting key markets in the ASEAN region. Gutenberg says it will target to grow its team from the current 80 to over a 100 storytellers in the first half of 2017.
