Mehak Chawla joins Google as Communications Manager, Critical Incidents, Google Cloud

Mehak Chawla, who till recently lead the communications function at Infosys, has joined Google as communications manager, critical incidents, Google Cloud.
Chawla will be reporting into the head of incidents management and critical incident communications at Google Cloud in their HQ in Sunnyvale. The role involves external and internal stakeholder communications for critical incidents at Google Cloud.
A former journalist and content manager with 'The Indian Express' and 'The Economic Times', Chawla moved to communication at Infosys in 2016.
She is an alumni of the Indian Institute of Mass Communications, 2008 batch.
A September 2020 IDC study said that Google Cloud India partners are expected to generate 3.7 times the current revenue for every 1 UD dollar of Google Cloud product sold , significantly increasing the forecast for growth in India for cloud products.
