Prasidha Menon is set to move on from OYO Hotels & Homes by March 2021

Prasidha Menon, currently VP and global head of communication for OYO Hotels & Homes is set to move on from the position by March 2021.

Menon is a seasoned communications professional with over years of experience working with leading disruptor brands including Uber and of course, OYO Hotels & Homes.

At OYO, her mandate included driving the firm's OYO's reputation forward and delivering against the company's mission, through sustained corporate reputation management programs and targeted brand-building campaigns. 

 Menon was also a key member of OYO’s leadership team and has led all strategic projects and initiatives as the custodian of the company's reputation. 

Prior to OYO, Prasidha was heading communications for Uber in India and South Asia, where she helped build the Uber India brand via strategic corporate narrative development and storytelling.



She also led the communication for the market entry for UberEats and its expansion to over 20 cities in India in less than 15 months. During her stint at Uber, she has managed several global issues and crisis situations with the goal of ensuring the brand is given its due by the local media houses.

Prasidha has also worked with leading PR agencies including Edelman India as the technology account director. 

During her stint with Edelman, she won Edelman’s coveted D.J.E. Fellowship Program, conceptualized and sponsored by the President & CEO Richard Edelman, which gave her the opportunity to work for Edelman Digital in San Francisco for two years. 

During her fellowship, Prasidha worked on the global communications campaign for the separation of HP into two companies, HP Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.

 She strongly advocates for women in the technology and PR industry. At OYO, Menon ran a woman-dominated team of PR professionals from around the world.
