Purnima Sahni Mohanty to lead corporate communications at Microsoft India

Purnima Sahni Mohanty, till recently with DuPont, has joined Microsoft India as the communications lead. In this role, she will be part of the India Leadership team and will be responsible for shaping Microsoft’s communication strategy and corporate brand reputation across audiences. 

Purnima will be based in Gurgaon. 

She takes over from Arati Mukerji who had joined the firm in May last year.

Purnima is a senior communications leader with over 27 years of experience in the Industry. She brings a blend of global and local expertise leading strategic communications, reputation management, and citizenship programs at DuPont, GE, Samsung, Alcatel and Oracle. And, Purnima has received prominent industry recognition in the market for her work in Communications and CSR.

Purnima has extended her contributions to building women's leadership programs in the organizations she has been a part of and actively mentors aspiring young women entering the workforce.

A graduate in English from Delhi University she also attended an executive education programme in strategic growth from Colombia Business School.
