On the occasion of Durga Puja, the Samsung India corporate communications team shot a video to honour the artisans of Kolkata's Kumartuli area.

"This video is the first in the series called #IndiaOnGalaxy, an in-house Samsung India corporate communications/Newsroom initiative that will capture the beauty and diversity of India and the people who make it such a beautiful nation” said Partha Ghosh, vice president and head, corporate communications, Samsung India and South West Asia.

“The video is a tribute to the clay artisans of Kumartuli in Kolkata who create thousands of Durga idols in the run-up to Durga Puja every year. It is also a tribute to the people of Bengal who are deeply and emotionally connected to their roots, expressing themselves beautifully especially during Pujas, wherever they are, worldwide," added Ghosh.

Happy Durga Puja and Dussehra to all the PR folks out there!
