Varsha Chainani moves to Adani Group as head of corporate communications

Seasoned corporate and public affairs professional, Varsha Chainani, has been appointed as the head of corporate communications at the Adani Group.
The Adani group's market cap at BSE stands at ₹ 22 lakh crore, making it the most valuable firm in India ahead of the Tata Group. Its owner Gautam Adani is the world's third richest man per the Forbes real-time billionaires list.
Chainani was previously senior VP, of group communications at the Mahindra Group. Before Mahindra, she was director of public affairs at the pharma giant Abbott where she set up the public affairs function in India.
Varsha is an active member of the prestigious Arthur W Page Society. She is a life and leadership professional coach who works with mid-career women supporting them to accelerate their leadership journey and excel in their careers.
She has also worked with IBM, Indian Hotels Company Ltd and Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, in the past.
