Deepak Kapoor, formerly with Perfect Relations, has joined Godrej Industries as assistant manager, corporate communications. He will work on the conglomerate's multiple brands. Kapoor has close 
to 8 years’ experience in corporate and brand PR across sectors. At Perfect Relations, he managed clients such as BBC World News, Kansai Nerolac, Henkel India and ALTBalaji, among others.
Deepak holds a post-graduate diploma in business management with a specialization in marketing from 'SIES Institute of Management Studies'.
Deepak is also the founder of 'The Commune', a forum dedicated to bringing the ‘Fun’ and ‘Cool’ quotient back to advertising, media and marketing communications industry. 'The Commune' bridges the awareness gap between different industries such as marketing, advertising, digital, PR, journalism, media-planning/buying; through curated industry gatherings. In January this year, 'The Commune' conceptualized and hosted the first-ever roast of advertising, digital, PR and journalism by its own professionals.
