Deepa Jayaraman moves on as COO, Hill + Knowlton Strategies

After nearly 12 years at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in various roles, including COO, Deepa Jayaraman is moving on from the firm. Reliable market sources told PRmoment India that Jayaraman's last day with the WPP owned PR firm is August 10th, 2018.

Key clients of the firm, it is reliably learnt, have already been informed about the change and details about the client teams going ahead shared.

Jayaraman has 17 years of experience in the PR business, with earlier stints at Perfect Relations. She has handled clients such as Blackstone, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Wipro Technologies, Intel, Microsoft, MTR Foods and Wells Fargo India.

It is not immediately known whether anyone will replace Jayaraman as COO. Hill+Knowlton Strategies has recently confirmed Kavita Rao as president and CEO for India. Rao, who was Genesis Burson-Marsteller's chief talent engagement officer, was interim CEO for Hill+Knowlton Strategies from April this year when outgoing CEO, Chetan Mahajan quit to set up 'The Mavericks'.

Separately Hill+Knowlton Strategies has added Charu Raizada as the lead for corporate practice in India.
